Immersal VPS is an advanced technology designed to create immersive spatial experiences. It allows users to scan their environment using mobile devices and integrates this data with pre-stored point cloud data to enhance the accuracy of digital twins.
First, we begin with a sample project that that includes basic 3D objects.
Next, create a new data source. Click File
> Data Source
> Add Source
Set up a new data source called "Immersal Map" and select the "Immersal" connection type.
Input your unique developer token and choose "Immersal Cloud" or a private server as your data host. Click Save
Next, to import the map, navigate to File > Import, select the "Immersal" folder, and choose the relevant map captured via a LiDAR scanner.
Import the map to start loading the point cloud data. Align the point cloud with your project's BIM model, setting positions and scaling accurately.
In SpatialWork Mobile, open the project and initiate AR mode to visualize the spatial data.
Interact with the spatial data by adjusting settings like opacity for clearer viewing during inspections.
These simplified steps guide you through integrating Immersal VPS into your SpatialWork projects, enabling precise spatial visualizations and interactions within your digital twin environments.
